IN-PERSON GROUP CLASSES
General
Our group classes are exclusively for individuals aged 18 and over.
Course fees must be paid in full prior to commencement and do not include the cost of textbooks or materials.
We use a learning management system to organise our classes and communicate with students. Some email addresses — particularly Yahoo and those handled by Google G-Suite — might not work and you might have to create a free Gmail account to access course materials.
Cancellations & CHANGES
To receive a refund (less a 5% cancellation fee), cancellations must be submitted via email at least 7 days before the term start date.
IMPORTANT: Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date, or after the course has commenced, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
In unforeseen circumstances where the assigned tutor is unavailable, HACKNEY SPANISH will endeavor to provide a substitute tutor. If this is not feasible, a make-up class will be scheduled during the half-term or at the course's conclusion.
Should the designated premises become unavailable due to unforeseen events (e.g., parent evenings, concerts), we will attempt to secure an alternative nearby venue. If unsuccessful, an additional week will be added to the course, or a session will be scheduled during the half-term.
Each class requires a minimum enrollment. HACKNEY SPANISH reserves the right to cancel courses that do not meet this threshold or due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, enrolled students will be notified and issued a full refund.

ONE TO ONE CLASSES (IN-PERSON & ONLINE)/ FLEXIBLE GROUPS ONLINE
Bookings
- A minimum commitment of 5 hours of tuition is required, with fees payable in advance directly to HACKNEY SPANISH.
- Prepaid sessions must be used within 3 calendar months from the date of the first class.
- Unused sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Payment
- Following the initial session, fees are entirely non-refundable and non-transferable.
- All tuition fees must be settled in full no later than 48 hours prior to the first scheduled session.
- Fees do not cover the cost of textbooks or supplementary materials.
Cancellations
- Sessions missed or canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full.
- Accommodations for tardiness are subject to the tutor's discretion and availability.
- If unforeseen circumstances prevent the tutor from conducting a session, HACKNEY SPANISH will arrange for a substitute tutor or reschedule the session in consultation with the student.
